چکیده
Ehrlichia spp. is tick-borne zoonotic pathogen that can infect humans and animals. Nowadays, among the tests used in diagnosis of ehrlichiosis, importance molecular methods increasing steadily due to their high sensitivity specificity. The aim this study was determine analytical a conventional polymerase chain reaction (PCR) targeting disulfide oxidoreductase (DSB) gene. DSB gene cloned into TOPO vector. After plasmid containing were serially diluted, PCR performed. While working on research, blood skin scraping samples stray dog clinically suspected with leishmaniasis as well treated for arrived our laboratory. Thereafter, PCRs 16S rRNA Leishmania kinetoplast DNA (kDNA) genes performed identify dog. assay 1 ≥ copy plasmid/reaction using diluted positive kDNA negative leishmaniasis. Using nested rRNA, E. canis identified In study, has been shown have sensitivity. Also it help clinicians differential ehrlichiosis prevent inappropriate treatment.

متن کاملDiagnosis of bacteremia in patients with suspected septicemia using polymerase chain reaction method
Background: Sepsis or blood stream infection is a clinical lethal syndrome with severe systemic inflammatory response to infection, if not treated quickly, is associated with dangerous consequences and high morbidity and mortality. The traditional and conventional method for identification of sepsis is blood culture method which is so time-consuming and long that it eliminates the possibility o...

To test the validity of the polymerase chain reaction for diagnosing American visceral leishmaniasis, 88 suspected cases were studied. Diagnosis was confirmed in 47 (53.5%) and ruled out in 41 (46.5%) patients. Samples of bone marrow and peripheral blood were processed by polymerase chain reaction to evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of the test and its agreement beyond chance with micro...

متن کاملDiagnostic Value of Polymerase Chain Reaction for the Rapid Diagnosis of Clinically Suspected Tuberculous Meningitis
To study the efficiency of Polymerase Chain Reaction for the diagnosis of clinically suspected tuberculous meningitis, a rapid molecular technique was established. The conventional bacteriological methods rarely detect Mycobacterium tuberculosis in CSF and are of limited use in diagnosis of tuberculous meningitis (TBM). This double blind study was, therefore, directed to the molecular analysis ...
